Collusion

              At around sometime last year in 2014, a browser app came out for browsers that can track and see what websites are tracking you!  When ever you go on one website, a couple of different websites track your information without your consent.  In a recent Ted talks video,  he explains why collusion is a good app see hoe many websites are tracking you.  In this blog, I will also be answering some questions I have been assigned.



             Why was all of the tracking a concern for the speaker?  It is a concern to the speaker because almost all the websites that are tracking him don't even ask him if they can track his information.  This means that they are basically violating his privacy.  What do you think the trackers doing with your information?  The trackers are seeing your information and tracking you to see what you might like.  Why would tracking be a good thing? Why would it be a bad thing?  I think the tracking would be a good thing because like I said before, they can see what you are looking up and give you ads to what you are looking for so you can find it easier.  The tracking can be a bad thing because maybe some of the sights can be stealing your information.  Also they are plainly looking at your private information without your consent.   Were you surprised at how many dots/connections were appearing?  I was pretty surprised about how many dots were appearing because I never knew that if you go to one site, another three websites can be tracking you too.  I know that some websites track you, but I always thought some don't.How many do you think would appear for you? Describe your digital usage.  I think about 200 would appear for me after about thirty minutes of watching YouTube.  This is because I watch YouTube like how other people watch television.  That means that I watch a lot of YouTube and that can lead to a lot of websites tracking my every step through my path on the internet.   
  
  



                       

My Favorite App

       

             My favorite app I would say is Bike Race by Top Free Games.  This game is a free-to-play racing game that you can play with people around the world.  It has a good variety of levels and bikes to choose from and you will be entertained for quite a while. Also, if you do not want to play against other people, their is also a single player mode.  This game is a challenge because you will always try and strive to get your next bike.  This game is a great way to challenge your friends and family to by by sending them a request by text message. Some bikes have unique features like being unbreakable or being able to go through some objects.  If you want to no more about the game click here.
